As an 8th-generation Texan, 35-year Central Texas resident, University of Texas Red McCombs Business School graduate, guest lecturer, and 30-year real estate veteran, Mike brings a lifetime of experience to his real estate design & property marketing advisory.

For almost 3 decades, Mike has built for himself and advised home builders & developers in acquiring, building, designing and selling residential & development properties in Texas which include master planned development sites, urban infill, and large acreage projects. His private client list includes Fortune 500 companies, national builders, large investment groups, and private families.

Design & Property Marketing Experience

Many of Mike’s projects have been featured in magazines & social media, including Tribeza, Dwell, Atomic Ranch & dozens of Pinterest boards and websites.

Mike maintains a network of real estate professionals to facilitate the varying needs of clients. Consequently, many of Mike’s real estate transactions have been off-market or private sales for large companies, discerning private individuals and investment.

Occasionally, when it fits the clients’ needs, property will be marketed and listed publicly.

But often buyers and owners prefer some level of anonymity for a multitude of reasons.  For these clients, Mike’s extensive regional, statewide and national contacts facilitate those transactions.

He’s had three decades of living, working and playing in the market he’s branded “Austin’s Billion Dollar Corridor”, which runs on the south side of the Colorado River system along Highway 71 from Bastrop to Horseshoe Bay.

From the hyper-growth of Tesla in the SH 130 Corridor to the Hill Country playgrounds of Spicewood and Lake LBJ, the Texas Billion Dollar Corridor may be the most important and diverse stretch of road in Texas.

The corridor features a range of residential and investment options from high-end urban living to outdoor lifestyle communities and recreational lake & ranch properties.

In this 60+ mile stretch, Mike has been a resident, homeowner, home builder, investor, developer, real estate brokerage owner and residential design company owner.

Currently, the “Texas Exes” - the exurbs/small towns around Central Texas outside of the major metros - are of interest because of the great stories and great growth potential.

Current focus

Mike currently focuses his attention on real estate design & property marketing advisory & his first love - coaching golf at Back Nine Westlake.

When he’s not working

Notwithstanding his love of real estate, he’s also been a self-described hobby rancher, amateur fly fisherman, boat captain, marginal college golfer, soccer & flag football coach.

Currently, he’s loving improving health & wellness, increasing Bible time and being a Dad.
